8 percent more deeds in the second quarter
The total number of deeds executed by notaries in the second quarter of this year was 8 percent higher than in the same period last year. A total of over 459,000 deeds were executed in April, May, and June. Last year, that number was 425,000. The largest increase was in the number of mortgage deeds: 16 percent.
