We believe it's important to manage expectations, so we're committed to accurately and comprehensively describing the work you require. We offer you calmness, focus, and determination. This allows us to ask the right questions and for the client to provide us with all the relevant information in a structured manner. This allows us to be certain that we've heard and understood the client properly.

To add value and shape our relationship, we'd prefer to get to know you first. Really get to know you. In a no-obligation consultation. What can you tell us? What are your values? What are your goals? What are your biggest concerns? What do you want to know from us? In this consultation, we'll identify your specific needs. We'll place your wishes in the context of the law. What is possible? What isn't? And we'll propose a solution. If a deed is desired or necessary, we'll create a draft for you. We'll provide it to you so you can read and review it at your leisure. Need changes? We'll refine it. Until it's perfect. If you agree, we'll schedule a time to sign the deed.

By applying project and risk management tools, we can work efficiently and cost-effectively, gain real-time insight into the phases and planning of the case before and during the work, and reduce the risk of errors and reputational damage. In this way, we essentially boil each case down to six phases:

We strive to provide cost-conscious, high-quality services. We recognize the need to manage your budget for our services and that our charges should be value for money. We believe our fee structure is reasonable and commensurate with the value we add. Our goal is to maintain a lasting relationship with our clients based on the quality we deliver and the corresponding fees.

At MAES Civil-Law Notaries, we are flexible in our billing approach. We determine the fee structure in advance in consultation with our clients. Our fees are generally based on the time we spend on a case. We offer alternative fee structures. For example, we are happy to, and in most cases do, quote a fixed fee for certain types of work, generally allowing us to estimate our time commitment fairly accurately.
