We can accommodate our clients and employees in this detached office villa in the best possible way. For example, with free on-site parking and charging stations for electric cars. We're within walking distance of the Vlaardingen Oost metro station. City and regional buses stop at the bus stop on the square. How convenient is that?
We can better separate the public areas (our hospitality desk, lounge, and reception areas) from the workspaces in our building. Our guests can feel welcome and comfortable in the public areas. With our accommodations, we can offer our employees, who dedicate themselves every day to providing impeccable customer service, what they deserve: one of the best workplaces in the region, with every conceivable amenity that can contribute to their job satisfaction, even when they work remotely (partly from home).

We all work with dual-screen setups. This gives us a better overview, allows us to switch gears more quickly, and work more efficiently.
For telephony, we work with the Xelion telephony platform, which is linked to Notarisdossier, our CRM package, so that we can call, video call, chat and quickly follow up on tasks - such as callback requests - from the file via our screen with a single click. The employees have a headset so that they can optimally operate the keyboard, move around or pace with ease, all while continuing to talk to you.
Our team has created the "We are MAES Notaries" WhatsApp group, so we can quickly and easily connect with each other outside office hours to share important messages and news.
We believe it's important that our employees are easily reachable on their (personal) smartphones, including for babysitting, school, after-school care, schoolchildren, or in case of emergency. We also want to prevent them from experiencing the combination of work and care as unnecessarily stressful. We are, of course, vigilant that the quality of our services isn't hampered by excessive personal smartphone use during working hours, but everyone here takes responsibility in this regard as well.

We gratefully use the Jura coffee machine, which serves espressos, cappuccinos, and latte macchiatos. We also offer our employees a selection of teas and unlimited water. Free fresh fruit is always available for those who want it. We also offer free vitamin supplements for those who appreciate them. And because we can't resist, we always have chocolate on hand. Discount scheme

Referral bonus
If an employee brings in a new office colleague and this new employee accepts a permanent employment contract after a period of one year, then that employee is eligible for a gross referral bonus of €1,500.
Innovation bonus
If an employee submits an innovation plan to the employer that is implemented and leads to measurable savings or revenue, that employee is eligible for a gross innovation bonus of €2,500 or more.

Gratuity
An employee is not entitled to any compensation other than their salary or a share in our profits. However, if office results allow, the office intends to continue providing an annual bonus (gratuity or gesture) based on profit. This has been the case in previous years. If such a payment is made, no rights can be derived from it for subsequent years. Any bonus payment is made dependent on the entire team's performance, as well as on individual performance, contribution, or commitment, and ranges from €0 to five-figure amounts.

BBQ
We have an office Kamado BBQ that we regularly light in our garden—not an office garden, but a true lounge garden with blooming flowers—on Fridays during the summer months for low-and-slow cooking of short ribs, vegetable parcels, sea bass, and marshmallows. For those who want it.
Boating
When the sun shines in the summer months, we sometimes go out sailing after work on an electric sloop. We find it a fun way to explore the Midden-Delfland nature reserve together. We can moor for a picnic, enjoy a drink on the terrace of one of the restaurants along the waterway, drop anchor for a refreshing dip in the water, or simply sail quietly along the waterways and enjoy the nesting birds.
