After completing her higher professional education, Iris made her debut in the notarial profession—and at our firm—on August 20, 2020. We remember it as if it were yesterday, because with her arrival, the sun seemed to shine just a little brighter.

By now, of course, Iris is no longer a debutante. She has further specialized in Family and Inheritance Law and Real Estate Law, both with us and at other notary firms, including Westvaer and Schaap Advocaten Notarissen in Rotterdam. To ultimately, after careful consideration, return to the mothership. And to be honest, we are quite delighted about that.

In her younger years, alongside her studies, Iris learned everything about service, hospitality, and customer experience at Hotel New York. That experience still serves her well today. She has since grown into a self-assured and independent young woman who is an excellent listener to what a customer has to tell her.

Moreover, Iris knows exactly how things work. She not only listens attentively to what is confided in her, often in confidence, but also knows how to ask the right questions in an empathetic manner. Always with a feel for the situation, in the right tone and, characteristic of Iris, with a cheerful disposition.

And then, of course, there is her cheerful four-legged friend. When he isn't out with his peers on the dog walking service to the Broekpolder, he can faithfully be found under Iris's desk a few days a week. He, too, seems to feel completely at home in our office.
