Guardianship, asset management and execution
Asset management and administration
Our asset management includes:
- Taking care of a client's financial affairs.
- The transfer of funds and making payments.
- Taking care of the client's administration.
- The periodic rendering of accounts and accountability of management.
Asset management can take place in three forms, namely on the basis of:
- A power of attorney granted to us by the customer.
- A guardianship of the customer's assets.
- A guardianship order placed on the client.
We manage our assets in close consultation with the family and relevant institutions. We are not subject to the supervision of the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) and are not licensed. However, there is an exemption from the licensing requirement. We must meet several conditions for this. These conditions are:
- The advisor has a main professional activity other than providing financial services.
- Due to the main professional activity, the advisor has insight into the financial situation of his client.
- Advice on financial products is an extension of the main professional activity.
- The advisor does not receive any payment from the provider for the advice provided.
- The advice may only constitute a marginal part of the total work.
- The advisor does not mediate in the product he or she advises on.
