Members' Council appoints 4 new KNB board members

The Members' Council of the Royal Dutch Association of Civil-Law Notaries (KNB) appointed four new board members on March 6. Notary Jan Janssen from Groningen is the first to join the KNB board. He immediately replaces Annette van der Klooster, who resigned in early March after her term expired.

Barbara van Kampen, a notary in Oss, will start her term on July 1st. She succeeds Thijs Flokstra and is the intended new chair of the Royal Dutch Bar Association (KNB). Her term as chair begins on October 1st, when the current chair, Annerie Ploumen, steps down. Her position on the board will be taken by Arnhem-based notary Karen Verkerk from that date. Notary Jeroen Prinsen from Deventer will join the board on May 1, 2025, succeeding treasurer Ed Engelen.
