KNB informs foundations and associations about WBTR

The new Act on the Management and Supervision of Legal Entities (WBTR) will take effect on July 1st. The Royal Dutch Association of Civil-Law Notaries (KNB) has created informational materials about this. The Act will introduce new rules for the division of tasks within associations and foundations. This applies to all Associations and foundations. From large organizations and charities to local sports and hobby clubs and religious communities.

Notaris.nl provides information for foundations and associations. It lists all the changes and offers a checklist (PDF) for download. A "Jessica knows best" video has also been created on the topic. The Dutch government has also created an information sheet , which can also be found on notaris.nl.
