Initiators of Zorgeloos Vastgoed establish a foundation

The initiators of the Zorgeloos Vastgoed (Carefree Real Estate) agreement system announced today the establishment of the Zorgeloos Vastgoed Foundation. According to the initiators, the foundation's creation lays a solid foundation for optimal cooperation between all parties involved in the purchase and sale of private real estate.

Zorgeloos Vastgoed was set up in 2019 by HDN (Mortgage Data Network), the Land Registry, the Royal Dutch Association of Civil-Law Notaries (KNB) and the NVM (Dutch Cooperative Association of Real Estate Agents and Valuers).

More convenience, clarity and certainty
The founders of the Zorgeloos Vastgoed Foundation have one common goal: to relieve consumers of the hassle of buying and selling real estate. By signing the deed of incorporation, the founders are taking the next step toward greater convenience, clarity, and security in every phase of the consumer's life.

Efficient and broad chain collaboration
The non-profit foundation focuses on organizing and facilitating digital communication between all parties in the real estate chain, from consumers and real estate agents to lenders, financial advisors, and notaries. It achieves this by developing a single language and a single generic architecture: the agreement framework. This foundation structure facilitates extensive and efficient collaboration within the real estate chain.

Direction
The foundation provides a solid foundation for the collection of up-to-date and validated residential and purchase data for consumers, market participants, and the government, directly from reliable sources. The foundation also ensures the fast and secure exchange of information between all these parties, giving everyone involved greater insight and oversight into the purchasing process. Consumers remain in control: people decide for themselves which parties they share their data with.

Industry-wide data sharing
Zorgeloos Vastgoed is currently primarily known for its digital purchase agreement: the first result of the agreements made by the real estate sector. This digital agreement allows buyers and sellers to share their data more easily and securely across the sector. This allows consumers to maintain overview and control, and eliminates the need to copy documents. This version of the digital purchase agreement is currently being implemented on a small scale. Digitizing and establishing process agreements for additional documents in the real estate chain are also on the agenda. These include valuation reports, energy labels, and various deeds.

Management
The foundation has a Board of Directors and a Supervisory Board to further develop and manage the system. The Board consists of Jennifer op 't Hoog (Director/Manager, HDN), Rob Agelink (Director of Data, Governance and Innovation, Land Registry), Bernadette Verberne (Innovation Manager, Royal Netherlands Bar Association), and Peter van Grevengoed (Operational Director/Manager, NVM). The Supervisory Board consists of Reinier van der Heijden (Director/Manager, HDN), Frank Tierolff (Chairman of the Board, Land Registry), Annerie Ploumen (Chairman of the Board, Royal Netherlands Bar Association), and Peter Brussel (General Chairman, NVM). The foundation also welcomes other industry and professional organizations in the real estate sector.
