Maudy says...
I recently had a case where a seller defaulted on payments to buyers. I can't judge why the seller defaulted; perhaps there were perfectly good reasons for it, but I find myself deeply sympathizing and empathizing with the buyers and their families, who, while they have to move out of their old house, unexpectedly can't move into their new one on the initially agreed-upon date. I know how frustrating that is. And although I can't do anything about it as a case manager, it bothers me deeply. It even keeps me awake at night. But when I walk the four-day march with the children in the evening, I really enjoy it and it gives me a nice break. When the delivery to those buyers finally goes ahead, I see their relieved faces and the buyers express their gratitude for my dedication and commitment, then I know all too well why I'm doing it all.
