New members of the Notary Access Commission appointed

The Minister for Legal Protection, Franc Weerwind, has (re)appointed eight members to the Notary Access Commission (CTN). This ends the temporary situation that arose at the end of last year as a result of the collective resignation of the commission members.

As of December 1, the CTN consists of the following members:

Aart Barkey Wolf (chairman and former notary) Kitty Nooy (advisor on ethical leadership) Marianne Heuvelmans (notary) Monetta Ulrici (judge) Martine Höfelt (lawyer) Boudewijn Waaijer (former notary) Hans Ruijgrok (notary) Marja Spaans-den Heijer (former accountant)

Advice to the Minister
The CTN advises the Minister for Legal Protection on the personal suitability of a candidate wishing to become a civil-law notary (or associate civil-law notary). This advice is an important part of the procedures for appointment as a civil-law notary and designation as an associate civil-law notary. The Minister for Legal Protection makes the appointment.
