A number of notary offices are currently unable to pass deeds due to computer hack

Several notary offices are currently unable to execute deeds. They are victims of a computer hack at one of their IT suppliers. These notary offices are doing their best to inform their clients.

Unfortunately, this isn't always possible because the hack prevents them from accessing their clients' contact information. Clients who haven't been contacted by their notary and who are also unable to reach their notary can call and/or email the Royal Netherlands Notary Association (KNB) at 070 330 7111 or communicatie@knb.nl . Clients may still experience delays or postponements of signing appointments for the remainder of this week.
