Accessibility of the notary profession is central to the KNB conference
How (in)accessible is the notary profession? That question will be central to the KNB conference "(In)accessible Notary Profession?" on Friday, October 6th in 's-Hertogenbosch. Together with a variety of speakers, including Minister for Legal Protection Franc Weerwind, we will search for the answer.
Notaries offer their clients a helping hand when they need advice. We also want to offer that support to those who, for various reasons, are currently unable to find us, even though they sometimes desperately need a notary. We also want to remain accessible to the new generation of notaries, who have different demands on their work and office. At the same time, as a gatekeeper, we have a duty to deny access to our services to people with malicious intent.
Speakers
During the KNB annual congress, we will be addressing the accessibility of our profession from various perspectives. A variety of speakers will be present. We are proud to announce that Minister Franc Weerwind will be on stage. He will explain his vision on access to justice , the gatekeeper role of the notary, and his future plans for our profession. SME leader Jacco Vonhof will also be present to examine the accessibility of notaries for entrepreneurs. Opinion leader Sander Schimmelpenninck will share his unique perspective on the gap between notaries and (future) clients.
