Notarisworden.nl: informing and inspiring students

What does the profession of notary actually entail? It's a question many notary students struggle to answer. The Royal Dutch Association of Civil-Law Notaries (KNB) aims to change this with the new website notarisworden.nl and closer collaboration with notarial student associations.

The notary profession needs a sufficient influx of qualified and enthusiastic candidates. The number of notary students is increasing, but they also need to remain motivated and, based on a clear understanding of the profession, actually choose the notary profession. Contacts with notary student associations revealed a need for increased collaboration and a more intensive exchange of information.

In addition, relationships with future candidate notaries are already being built during their studies. A LinkedIn group has been created where students stay informed about current events in the notarial profession.
