Notary offices remain open
Most notary offices are open as usual. Notaries are subject to a ministerial obligation imposed by law. This means they are obligated to provide services. However, many (candidate) notaries are working from home until at least April 6th. Consultations are often held by phone or video call. Notaries who are in the office are adhering to the RIVM (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment) guidelines regarding the coronavirus. Clients who are ill are asked not to visit.
