Notaries may also provide services after 5 p.m.

Notary offices may remain open until 8:00 PM. They are exempt from the rule requiring closure between 5:00 PM and 5:00 AM. This rule is part of the new coronavirus measures that took effect on Sunday, November 28th. Lawyers, supermarkets, drugstores, opticians, and pet shops are also exempt from the 5:00 PM rule.

The Dutch government's website states that notaries are permitted to operate during regular business hours. Furthermore, everyone must maintain a distance of 1.5 meters from others. And when visiting others, they are asked to take a self-test first. Working from home as much as possible is now a rule rather than a recommendation.
