If the inevitable moment of death seems to be approaching unexpectedly, it may be necessary to quickly draw up or revoke a will. There's no time to lose, and the notary will come to you as quickly as possible, if desired—at your home, the hospital, or the hospice. This ensures that your last will and testament is properly recorded with the necessary care.

If this situation occurs, do the following:

1. Call the office on +31 10 44 53 777 or outside office hours on +31 6 22 98 78 92 or send a WhatsApp message to the latter number.

Inform us that an urgent will needs to be made. We will then record the name of the testator or testatrix in question, their residence, and the contact information for the contact person, and schedule the time and location of the notary's appointment.

2. Make sure that the testator or testatrix can show a valid passport or driver's license to the notary on site.

3. If an existing will is already available, provide a copy of it to the notary as soon as possible.

NB: If, in the sole opinion of the notary, the testator or testatrix is no longer of sound mind, the notary must refuse his or her services.
