For example, the Land Registry has made SYVAS available as a web service for software vendors in My Land Registry. SYVAS stands for "system for submitting documents." This new system replaces Web-ELAN and offers new features. The Land Registry and the Royal Netherlands Bank for Land Registry (KNB) are collaborating with software vendors on SYVAS.
Customer benefit
SYVAS offers several advantages. This new system improves the evidentiary position of the notary and the Land Registry. It also collectively increases legal certainty. Furthermore, the Land Registry provides further practical implementation of the European eIDAS requirements for electronic identification and signatures. Moreover, it is user-friendly and aligns with our preferred working methods. The integration of submitted documents with the case file has been improved, and direct communication via web services replaces email. This allows us to work more efficiently and cost-effectively. We pass this advantage on to our clients.

Our software supplier DIRICT (affiliated with Van Brug Software and, together with Van Brug, a market leader in the notarial sector with approximately 400 notary offices as clients) has selected MAES Notaries to test the launch of SYVAS with them and the Land Registry.
