What a dream team!

Every year-end, our employees receive a year-end letter. In this letter, we reflect on the past year and look ahead to what's to come. We reflect on what's happened in everyone's lives, look at geopolitical and economic developments, and what we can expect from The Hague's political scene in the coming year.

But in this letter, we first and foremost focus on our office's performance and the contributions of all our colleagues. Looking back on 2023, we note that both our revenue and results decreased compared to 2022, which was, incidentally, the best financial year in our office's history.

The lower turnover and lower profit are mainly caused by the stagnant housing market with less supply, stagnating construction, inflation and higher interest rates, which resulted in fewer transactions and therefore less need for deliveries and mortgages.

Our customer satisfaction remained consistently high in 2023. After all, we measure it constantly. On a scale of 1 to 10, we scored a solid 9 for 2023. We're all very proud of that. This high score is a credit to our employees. To everyone on our team. Employees who, every day, serve our valued customers impeccably and with integrity. Who manage to combine their commitment to our customers so skillfully with their personal responsibilities. And who manage to juggle everything so skillfully. Who ensure that everything runs smoothly for our customers. Who tirelessly demonstrate their exceptional helpfulness and patience every day when speaking to our customers on the phone. And for whom no email is too much trouble. But they also have to deal with callers or emailers who are often not hindered by any knowledge and who - possibly partly because of that - treat our employees unfairly or even rudely and therefore do not always show respect or gratitude towards our employees who, after all, work so hard for them.

And while high customer satisfaction is a wonderful sign of appreciation for all our employees, I'd also like to express my sincere thanks and praise to everyone on our Dream Team for everything they do. It's a great team, and I feel privileged that we enjoy working together so much. What a Dream Team!
